Once upon a time…
there was a girl who traveled to Patagonia…
where she stood in awe of Torres del Paine National Park.
Little did she know at the time…
That she’d fall deeply in love.
No, not with the boys…
but with the sunsets…
the trekking…
and the mountains.
Yes. Most definitely the mountains.
Even the beer was good, too!
She’d travel back to this vast wilderness many times over the next few years…
during the spring…
the summer…
and the fall!
It would be a place she’d always return…
to remember the sound of nature…
the sight of pure beauty…
and the taste of adventure.
From Chilean Patagonia to Argentine Patagonia she roamed…
where she felt most at home, a familiar road to always welcome her…
The Road Les Traveled.
Glacial lakes posed for her photos…
and horses graciously showed her the land.
She’d walk for miles…
to witness fairytale places such as these.
And always knew in her heart of hearts…
that no matter how old and withered she became…
from Patagonia she’d never abstain.
Cheers to you, Patagonia. It’s always been you…
