Nautical Dress on Nautical Accessories
Southern Tide Dress / Nantucket Sole Slides / Leatherology Crossbody Bag / Sunglasses / Boater Hat
Complimenting my appropriately named “Nautical Stripe Dress,” I threw on a pair of Nantucket Sole slides, a brand I was introduced to on the island. The ladies behind the brand were inspired by easy chic island style and their love affair with Nantucket. Another stylish but functional accessory? My “boater hat.” This hat has become a godsend this summer as it’s not too bulky to travel with and pairs well with just about everything.
‘Sconset Style
Southern Tide White Jeans / J.O.A. Chambray Ruffle Top / Slides I Would Buy 5 Of
As mentioned in my previous post, walking through ‘Sconset is like walking through a dreamland of hydrangeas and sea air. You really can’t go wrong with a pair of white skinny jeans for summer at the beach (the temp can drop quickly!), so I opted to pair mine with this easy ruffle top that adds a feminine touch to any outfit. Again with the white and blue? When you’re seaside, you can’t overdo it with that classic combo.
East Coast Beach Vibes Served up Two Ways
Southern Tide Gingham Bikini / Anthropologie Maxi Dress / Southern Tide Button Down / Tassel Earrings
Why opt for one cover up when you can have two?! Anyone who knows me knows that I am not the best decision-maker, just try ordering dinner with me… So it’s no surprise that I had to pack two different cover ups for my Nantucket beach trip. I figured I needed to deviate at least a little from my blue and white routine, so I injected some color into my look with this Anthropologie find that I’m obsessed with. Another obsession? This Southern Tide top that the team had personalized – IN LOVE. When in doubt, I always grab the nearest button down for a quick swimsuit cover up.
A Lady in Red Hits Downtown
Goodnight Macaroon Top / Southern Tide Scallop Shorts / BCBG Hoop Earrings
So I bought this dramatic red top a few weeks and have been searching for fun things to pair it with. After eyeing these scallop shorts, I decided YOLO, why not combine some latin and nautical vibes? This outfit was a perfect for a morning of shopping in Nantucket’s downtown historic district. I really like the slightly high-waisted feel of these shorts. They aren’t too constricting but hold everything in. 🙂
Relaxed Luxury with a Twist
Similar Top / Southern Tide White Jeans / Madewell Earrings / Heels
What’s blue and white and striped all over? It’s me! In Nantucket! Fun fact – This top is actually a kimono cardigan I picked up from Anthropologie (unfortunately now sold out) that I tied into a breezy blouse. If you’re ever short on packing space, always try and pack items that can be multi-purposed for other outfits.
Kolorful Kimonos
Band of Gypsies Kimono (now 40% off) / Madewell High Waisted Jeans / Boater Hat / Nantucket Sole Slides
It’s no secret I love color, but pastels get me every time. When I saw this beaut from Band of Gypsies, I knew I had to have it! It pairs perfectly with a pair of high waisted jeans, jean shorts, beach cover up – you name it. I adore its versatility and its elegance in the wind 🙂
Suffice to say, I’ve worn enough nautical stripes and pastels in the past week or so to last me years. Nantucket has definitely given me style inspo that I’ll carry around the rest of the summer, cloudy days be damned!
