LimitLes in Peru 2019
LimitLes trips are intentional escapes for those looking for movement, purpose, connection, adventure, and change for the greater good. LimitLes in Peru is not your average summer vacation. Throughout our 8 days, we’ll traverse Cusco & the Sacred Valley of the Incas, scale the limestone cliffs of the Andes, marvel at the mystical ruins of Machu Picchu & bask in the colorful views Peru has to offer. We’ll be sure to make a lasting impact on the local community and an even greater impact on you!
It’s no secret that Peru is home to one of the new seven wonders of the world. Machu Picchu is among the greatest artistic, architectural and land use achievements anywhere, but this country also offers a huge variety of out-of-this-world landscapes, cuisine and experiences that are always exceeding the expectation of every traveler. I’ve been lucky to visit this beautiful country a few times and most recently with the expert guides of Peru Eco Expeditions. No one knows luxury-adventure Peruvian travel like Sara and Daniel from this incredibly successful sustainable ecotourism company. Together, we have created a dream expedition packed with the top To Dos combined with Peru’s best kept gems…all topped with exclusive touches.

Accommodation: We will be spending our time at a combination of boutique hotels with breathtaking views and a luxury villa exclusively ours for a few nights.
Giveback: We are really excited to spend time with the beautiful children and staff of Elim Orphanage completing a full day of service and fun. Elim Orphanage is a small, family-founded and operated non-profit that lacks government funding and international partners to raise money. We ask that each participant bring 2 Spanish books age-appropriate for kids 4-16 years old. Part of our day will include building book shelves for the kids, and these books will be the first to reside there.

Note: Cusco is located at an elevation of 11,151 feet. High altitudes affect everyone differently. Some may not feel the change at all while others may experience altitude sickness locally known as soroche. Symptoms include headache, fatigue, stomach discomfort, dizziness and sleep disturbance. Staying extremely well hydrated can prevent and alleviate these symptoms. Oxygen and first aid kit will always be on hand.

Next steps: If your application is approved, I’ll notify you the week of March 11th which is when your $950 nonrefundable deposit is due immediately to secure your spot. The remaining balance will be due April 15th, 2019.
