His first Father’s Day
This section is inspired by Alex, and these gifts are just as versatile as he is! The following presents could be for the young dad, the dad on-the-go, the coffee lover, and/or the dad who can’t get enough of their little one.
Personalized baby book
This one tugged at my heartstrings because Nora is for sure a daddy’s girl. This cutie koala book (on brand) comes customized with baby’s name and details. My favorite quote is “he will show me his world and teach me what he knows.” Oh, how I’m looking forward to the day Drone Pilot will teach his co-pilot all he knows.
‘Nora’s dad’ mug
After a night of no sleep, a flat white with your baby’s face will remind him why we do it. It doesn’t get any better than this!
Our favorite Sony camera
This camera is a splurge, but it’s worth every penny if your baby daddy is as into media as mine. This camera really does it all, but Alex’s favorite feature is the 4K HD video. It’s also a great camera to perfect the skill of photography!
Portable projector
I mean could home movies get any cooler? This small but mighty projector is compatible with smartphones, firesticks, laptops, and more! The advanced DLC technology means the color is more vivid than an old-school LCD projector. Also, if it’s fully charged it can double as a portable projector and power bank, which we can never get enough of when traveling.
A framed photo from Minted
I created a gallery wall in our house as an early first Father’s Day gift, and we are both equally obsessed with our framed milestones as a little family. A personal favorite piece from our Minted collection is this custom silhouette art of our baby girl!
Onesie
An outfit for Nora but realllly just to make Alex laugh first thing in the AM. 🙂
For the cool Grandpa
This section is inspired by none other than my grand ol’ dad. Vent is up and at em’ by 5 AM at every damn day. He loves Orange Theory Fitness, a fine glass of wine, and chasing his grandkids around in circles for hours on end. My parents have always been so present with my sisters and me growing up and are even more so with their grandbabies. It’s the most beautiful thing to be a part of, and I’d gift them the world if I could!
Anthony Bourdain’s newest book
I got my love for Anthony Bourdain from watching him for many years on TV, so this book will surely put a smile on their face… as it did mine. Catch me with this book in my hand every day I’m not traveling this year!
Lululemon shorts
Dad is always on the go. These Lululemon shorts are great for exercise but also look nice enough to run around town! Pro-tip for gifting: I buy the 9-inch short for Dad and the 7-inch short for Alex.
Ice cream maker
I gifted this to my parents a few years ago and they use it through every season. Grandma loves the cleaner ingredients from home, and Grandpa loves to make the ice cream with the kiddos and watch their eyes light up. I told you he was a *cool* grandpa 😉
Cornhole
Cornhole… but make it aesthetically pleasing. Love this vintage-looking set for a classic game in a classy Arkansas backyard BBQ!
Fool-proof gifts
If you’ve made it this far and haven’t found the one yet, fear not because these final three gifts are great for every man in your life!
Lululemon boxers
I got Alex a set of Lululemon boxers last year, and he has not stopped talking about them since. I mean if you have any Lulu, it’s hard to take off because it’s so good. They do men’s athletic and athleisure SO well.. and Alex will be getting another pair of these this year per request.
Breakfast sandwich maker
Have you ever made a breakfast sandwich at home as good as the one from the deli? Well, this will level up your breakfast game and is amateur-chef approved!
Personalized dopp kit
This spacious and customizable dopp kit is a crowd-pleaser. You can even pack it as a ‘dad emergency kit’ with baby wipes, a diaper, and a shot of whiskey 😉 If you know your loved one already has one of these, check out this engraved money clip wallet.
