The word Teysha (Tay-sha), means friend and ally and comes from the Native Caddo people of Texas, where boots are made for walking. In Austin, the creators of Teysha were inspired by the colors, creativity and cultures of Latin America, a common bond with which we share. Hand-crafted in Guatemala, these one-of-a-kind boots bring opportunities to the world, especially in the creative employment sector for the artisans.
Now that I’ve been lucky enough to trek through my stomping grounds of Argentina with happier feet, I like to think each step is a celebration of diversity, a step for quality over quantity, like one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. Amiright? Oh, and be prepared to get stopped in the streets. That’s all I’m sayin’.
