LimitLes Australia September 2025
After hosting LimitLes adventures around the world since 2018, it’s about time we take on a destination that’s especially close to my heart. As some of you may know, I met my Aussie dreamboat in the same year we launched the LimitLes travel series. He’s been with me (and the media man on-site) ever since, and we’ve been itching to bring LimitLes to his homeland. Well, the time has finally come! This 9-day, 8-night journey is a long-overdue and carefully curated homage to Australia’s jaw-dropping natural beauty, rich culture, and endless adventure.
This isn’t just a LimitLes adventure—it’s a family affair. My husband, Alex, will be our local legend (his words, not mine) as we explore his hometown of Manly Beach and beyond. You’ll see Australia through my eyes and his heart, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this bucket-list destination with you.
LimitLes Australia has long been awaited and debated, because to be frank, we’ve wanted to do it right. Australia is massive—it’s the sixth-largest country in the world, spanning nearly 3 million square miles (7.7 million square kilometers), roughly the size of the United States mainland. After going back to the drawing board time and time again, we’re so excited to present you with this incredible 9-day, 8-night itinerary highlighting the most iconic landscapes. We’ll start on the dazzling Sydney coast, but explore beyond the city like locals do. Our Manly man (Alex) is so excited to explore his hometown with new friends in tow. Think: best local eats, less crowded streets, epic sunsets from across the harbour, and maybe some single Aussie men…. kidding.
Next, we’ll escape the city and go down under properly in the Australian Outback! Uluru has been on my bucket list for many years, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to experience this place of deep spiritual significance and breathtaking beauty. This iconic sandstone monolith is more than just a natural wonder—it’s a sacred site for the Anangu people who have called this land home for tens of thousands of years. The changing colors of Uluru at sunrise and sunset illuminating the infamous red rock are a mesmerizing spectacle, while the surrounding desert landscape offers an awe-inspiring glimpse into the raw and untamed beauty of the Outback. From ancient Aboriginal rock art to the vast, starlit skies, Uluru is a place that stirs the soul and will inspire a greater connection with Mother Earth and yourself.
Finally, we’ll cap off our trip in the iconic Great Barrier Reef. There is no better place to get a bird’s eye view of this magnificent reef than the sky, of course 😉 We opted to call Port Douglas our home away from home for three fabulous nights. Our unique tree house inspired lodging is nestled between two UNESCO world heritage sights – the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. The Daintree Rainforest is one of the most extraordinary ecosystems on Earth. Over 135 million years old, it’s the oldest tropical rainforest in the world, pre-dating even the Amazon. This ancient environment is home to an astonishing diversity of plant and animal life, many of which can’t be found anywhere else. Towering trees, lush ferns, and winding creeks create a magical and untouched landscape, offering visitors a chance to connect with nature at its most pristine.
Late September/ early October is an amazing time of year for all 3 of our destinations. Spring is in full bloom in Sydney which means sunny days perfect for exploring the city and enjoying the coastal beaches without the intense summer heat. In the Outback, we’ll catch shoulder season meaning less foot traffic and more comfortable dessert temperatures ideal for hiking and clear skies for stargazing. It’s dry season in the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest which means warm days with low humidity creating the perfect conditions for flying and diving. Lucky us!
LimitLes Trips are intended to introduce you to like-minded women, welcome you into our travel community, inspire you to venture outside of your comfort zone, and empower you to explore. Whether it’s learning from Aboriginal guides, experiencing wildlife encounters, or simply soaking in the unreal scenery, LimitLes Australia will inspire and challenge you in the best way possible. From red sand hikes in the outback to shared laughs over dinner, every activity is designed to foster a connection with yourself, this incredible destination, and the badass women by your side.
The Road Les Traveled is not for the faint of heart, especially when we’re venturing to far away special lands. Our itinerary is balanced beautifully with comfortable accommodations to rest your head, delicious cuisine to spark your taste buds, quiet moments in awe-inspiring nature, lots of movement, and connection activities that will invite you to dive deeply into yourself and others.
