Do wedding shoes have to be white? How about something blue? Block heel, flat, or barefoot? Bling or lace? Simple or unique? How important is comfort? I had so many questions, ordered so many shoes, and have finally settled on the one(s)! I was determined that my hours of research not go to waste. So, here are my favorite wedding shoes on the market. Spoiler alert mine are listed somewhere in here 🙂
Wedding Shoes 101
Stunning wedding heels
THE Jimmy Choos
These are the beloved gorgeous Jimmy Choos. They’re timeless and simple with the perfect touch of flare, but ultimately unpractical for my Hawaii wedding on grass and sand.
Manola Blahnik Riona silk pearly-bracelet lace pumps
These earned their place under stunning wedding heels. The delicate details are timeless and the practical heel height makes them even lovelier. Truly obsessed!
Malone Souliers
These lacey, 2.75 inch mule is comfort meets elegance and are timelessly beautiful. They also come in pale pink for my fellow pink lovers because your wedding shoes don’t have to be white!
Blush block flower heels
Let me repeat for the naysayers in the back, your wedding shoes do not have to be white! I love that these heels are uniquely beautiful and the block heel makes them comfortable. Plus, they are a statement piece, and you could definitely re-wear them!
Leoffler Randall knotted mule
The block heel on these little beauties sold me, but the ivory did not match my dress. They are simple and lovely for your walk down the aisle.
Something blue
Badgley Mishcka cher crystal
I think this is the cinderella slipper worthy of a walk down the aisle. A truly stunning a 4-inch heel, tiny platform, and a reasonable price tag.
Something Blue elvie pump
These are the standouts still screaming my name from the Something Bleu collection. A comfortable 3-inch heel and unique but simply beautiful details that have you gushing over them for years to come.
Pro tip- buy these heel stoppers to protect your precious shoes from sinking! A pack of 9 means your bridal party will thank you too 🙂
Wedding flats and sandals
Confession- I have been debating walking the aisle barefoot… maybe even before we chose Maui. The following barefoot fairy jewels scream beach wedding, and I may or may not be the barefoot bride wearing them.
Barefoot
Bride
Badgley Mischka talia sandals
Everything you want and need in a wedding shoe, sans heel with maximum comfort.
Dolce Vita pearl sandals
These are beautiful, versatile, and sure to be worn again! With a little bit of lift and maximum style and comfort, these at least need a spot in your bridal collection.
