The change in seasons makes me so incredibly happy! I can’t exactly complain about LA weather 🙂 but when you grow up with seasons, you miss them when they’re gone! After unpacking box after box, Alex and I took a break and headed on a road trip around the area. I am, after all, attempting to morph this Aussie into an Arkansan! Just kidding, he actually LOVES it here, and I never want to change his Aussie ways. We went a few hours north towards Table Rock Lake to get a glimpse of the changing leaves.
It was a little too early for peak time but still beautiful nonetheless! Here’s what I packed in my weekender bag…

Fjord long-sleeve flannel shirt
My favorite season is flannel 🙂 Patagonia knew exactly what they were doing when they created this shirt – it’s warm, it’s made with 100% organic cotton for a soft yet durable wear, and it screams cooler weather. Any other flannel fanatics will love it, too! I bought in a medium for a looser fit.
Crew top
I’m SO happy with this purchase I could buy it in another color! I ordered it in Silver, and I was shocked at how buttery soft it was when I first opened it. I could hike, ski, run, or even sleep in it this fall/winter. Plus, it’s 35% off right now!
Wrap Dress
I’m a big fan of dresses these days, especially ones that I can grow into like this comfy wrap dress! I also love how versatile it is – you could wear this from the office to date night so easily. It comes in a couple of other prints and is currently up to 40% off!

High waisted leggings
My belly is getting bigger and bigger these days, and I literally live in these leggings after buying them one size up from my normal size. I’m able to do all the prenatal yoga I want in them and take a nap when the pregnancy fatigue hits 🙂 I’m *this* close to buying another pair because I know I’ll need it!
Sunglasses
I cannot begin to adequately express my love for these Goodr sunnies. If you’re an avid viewer of my IG stories, you’ve most likely seen me post about them. Perfect for sports, outdoor adventures, running errands, ANYTHING. My sister gave me a pair for Christmas last year (seriously such a good gift, y’all. Hint, hint!) and they have been such a hit. A steal at only $25!
Trail running shoes
I gotta have my trail running shoes. My old pair recently bit the dust, so I was excited to give ON Running a try. Comfort is the most important quality to me, and these babies do NOT disappoint. The waterproof and breathability factors give this shoe bonus points, but not as much as the multi-patterned soles. The level of control while hiking is perfection! I only wish I had sized up half a size for an even better fit.
Wedge booties
For an elevated look, I don’t shy away from a wedge bootie. I love how they ride the line between edgy and feminine. I’ve had this pair for a couple of years but linked very similar Sorel boots below!
