What to Wear on the Plane

I know it’s tempting to wear your finest Lululemon on every flight; however, I for one enjoy showing up to my final destination in style. Airport summer style is all about being comfortable, layering, while still staying chic. Think maxi skirts, drapey T shirts, cardigans, slip on sneakers, boyfriend jeans- you get the idea. You can still be comfortable sans sweats, ladies.

What to Pack

For summer trips, packing light is easier than you think, especially if you plan on staying beach side. When packing, avoid throwing in 10 sundresses, 4 pairs of shorts, 7 tops if you’re just going on a 5 day trip. You won’t even break the first layer of your suitcase, trust me. Be realistic with what you will actually wear. For instance, if the majority of your trip will be spent on the beach, focus on swimsuits and cover ups.

• Flat sandals
• Beach cover ups
• A pair of shorts
• Breezy tops

• A Hat and/or Sunglasses

Leave at Home:

• Heels. Unless you are attending a wedding, you will not wear them. Leave ’em.
• Cocktail dresses
• Your entire jewelry box. Sand and diamonds don’t mix.
