LimitLes trips are intentional escapes for those looking to travel with like-minded people who crave movement, purpose, connection, difference, and change for the greater good. LimitLes Peru isn’t your average vacay. From yoga to exploration to giving back in an exceptional way – we’ll be sure to make an impact: not only on the local community but on you, too.
In my humble opinion, the further south you go, the better the world becomes.
From the high Andes to the Amazon lowlands, expect the unexpected while on LimitLes Peru! I have been lucky to travel to this colorful country on three different occasions, and take it from me. To travel through Peru is to travel through the senses. From sapphire colored waters and rainbow mountains, to symphonies of humming, buzzing and chirping to mouth-watering citrusy ceviche, there’s something for every kind of traveler here. To the trekkers, the climbers, the foodies, the surfers, the thrill seekers, the history buffs, the animal lovers and city slickers: Gear up. Peru is a wild ride!
It’s no secret that Peru is home to one of the new seven Wonders of the World. Machu Picchu is among the greatest artistic, architectural, and land use achievements anywhere, but this country also offers a huge variety of topography, food, and experiences that are always exceeding the expectation of every traveler. If the altitude doesn’t take your breath away, the vistas certainly will.

I don’t visit the region without the excellent guidance of my friends from Peru Eco Expeditions, and lucky for us, these experts will help us venture from Cusco to the Sacred Valley and into the heart of the Amazon Rainforest. This will be my third time working with Sarah and Daniel, two of the most heart-led and adventurous guides I know on a dream expedition packed with the top to-dos combined with Peru’s best-kept gems…all sprinkled with exclusive touches.
The Road Les Traveled is not for the faint of heart. We’ll be rising early, staying active, traveling to different climates in a short amount of time and getting the absolute most out of our time in Peru…and I don’t say that last part lightly. The first portion of our trip will be fast-paced as we set out to experience as much as possible from Cusco to the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu. Then we’ll slow it down and unwind in one of the most serene sanctuaries in the world: the Amazon Rainforest. Our adventure-packed itinerary is balanced beautifully with luxury accommodations to rest your head including a private charter on the Amazon, world-class cuisine to spark your taste buds, quiet moments in awe-inspiring nature, and connection activities that will invite you to dive deeply into yourself and others.

Impact: The Willkamayu River, which means ‘sacred river’ in Quechua, was vital to the Inca Empire. It is said that the Inca believed that the water source came directly from the Milky Way Galaxy which touched the tops of the glaciers, melted into water and gave life and abundance to the people of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Unfortunately in modern times, the river has not been well respected as trash collects on its banks and constantly needs to be cleared. After assessing where we can best be of service, our group will spend the day rafting from Pachar to Ollantaytambo cleaning the banks of this river.
Covid Compliance: All passengers arriving into Peru must be fully vaccinated or show proof of a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure. In all provinces of Peru, adults over the age of 18 must show proof of vaccination to enter enclosed spaces, and individuals 40+ must have received their booster. That being said, all LimitLes Peru participants must be fully vaccinated in order to apply. KN95 masks are required. If you do not have a KN95, double masking is mandatory. All passengers must also complete an affidavit of health within 72 hours upon arrival.
Note: Cusco is located at an elevation of 11,151 feet. High altitudes affect everyone differently. Some may not feel the change at all while others may experience altitude sickness locally known as soroche. Symptoms include headache, fatigue, stomach discomfort, dizziness and sleep disturbance. Staying extremely well hydrated can prevent and alleviate these symptoms. Oxygen and first aid kit will always be on hand.

- Getting chosen for this was a dream come true.
I was yearning for new friends, adventure, and connection. This was only a weekend but I felt like I made more connections with people than I have in the last 10 years. Sharing your fears is the scariest thing you can do. Lesley, Em, Darby, and Alex made me feel more welcomed and loved than I have felt in a long time. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I can’t say it enough!! I am hopeful for my future for the first time in a long long time! This trip truly transformed my thinking and my outlook on life.
- In one word: Magical
It was almost a period of time where life around us all stopped. I was able to focus on what was directly in front of me and soak every moment of it up. The activities were magic, the landscape was magic, and the people were magic. As I am telling people about this trip, I still can’t properly articulate the magic in words. all I can say is that the activities were so beautiful, fun, and rewarding. Then, as I go to explain the people, I can’t explain how special everyone is individually and then the energy this group, as a collective, had – the laughs, the cries, the love. It was unmatched. You had to be there to truly understand (like the world’s best inside joke ;))
- A bucketlist experience that I didn’t know was on my bucketlist.
LimitLes is not your average trip. It isn’t as much of a trip as it is an experience. A chance to go deep within yourself, to open your soul to strangers, to jump around Mother Earth’s playground, to feel love and light. Lesley and Emily have created physical magic. From the way the introductions are coordinated, to choosing activities that are so rewarding, to creating a calm and still environment that allows you to FEEL and be present. I will look back on this experience as a once-in-a-lifetime moment. I am so grateful for the 19 other souls surrounding me on this journey. You are able to meet souls I wouldn’t have crossed paths with in my day-to-day life.
- So eternally grateful.
This past week has been full of reflection and self-awareness beyond what I ever could have imagined. Since returning home I’ve felt a sense of confidence that I’ve never felt before. Tackling angels landing with the ladies proved to myself that I could do anything, and when I think I can’t, it’s okay to rely on other people to help me see that I can. I’ve also been so self-aware every single day to do things (big and small) for myself so I can be a better version of myself for everyone I give everything to. So for this, I am eternally grateful and thankful. I would do this trip and/or any LimitLes trip a million more times knowing all the things I took away from the trip and this community for the last two years. So eternally grateful.
- Everyone should take on a LimitLes adventure.
Traveling with LimitLes was such an amazing experience and I am so grateful to be part of it. The love and care every woman had for each other from the getgo is so touching and inspiring. The adventures are fun and the giveback opportunity ignites a fire within to make you want to do more volunteer work. Everyone should take on a LimitLes adventure if they can because it will move you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
- I’m still in awe!
Fun. Laughs. Tears. Love. Giveback. Friendships. Adventure. Self-growth. These are all words that I would use to describe my time with LimitLes Travel. I’m still in awe of the fact that I got to be part of LimitLes Zion. It was such an amazing trip that exceeded my expectations. I went with an open heart and open mind. And I left with new forever friends and a very full heart!
- LimitLes helps forest lifelong friendships
LimitLes is a dream vacation with your best friends you haven’t met yet. It satisfies your craving for connection, adventure, and living life to the fullest. Making friends as an adult is really hard and people don’t talk about that enough, LimitLes helps foster lifelong friendships you didn’t know you needed. LimitLes also pushes you out of your comfort zone and into living your best life.
LimitLes Zion was simultaneously the most mentally, emotionally & physically challenging, and rewarding experience I have ever been lucky enough to be a part of. The connections made, with Mother Nature, with each other, with OURSELVES, were stunning, overwhelming, unmatched. Lesley & Emily – I am so honored I got to meet you both, travel with you, learn from you! You are such gifts to this Earth, I am so thankful you choose to share your passion & magic with all of us. Because that’s what you create with these trips – MAGIC if I’ve ever seen it before. Thank you all for creating the most SAFE, FUN, LOVING experience I have ever been a part of! I am grateful and so FULL.
- Inspiring, freeing, safe. Life-altering.
LimitLes is powerful. Powerful beyond words I can put together. It was so expertly curated to get the most out of us- emotionally, mentally, physically. Challenging at times (hello Angel’s Landing switchbacks & EYE CONTACT!!), but 10x more rewarding. Inspiring, freeing, safe. Life-altering.
- Most meaningful experience of my life
This was the trip of a lifetime. It was the perfect mix of adrenaline-filled adventures, incredible landscapes, and meaningful heart-work (yoga, meditation, sharing). The accommodations and culinary experiences were luxurious while the intentions of the trip were still incredibly grounded. I left this experience feeling empowered in my vulnerability. I wish I could be a part of something like this routinely to rejuvenate my soul and refill my cup. This adventure was exactly what my heart and soul needed at this exact time in my life. I would jump at the chance to do a LimitLes trip in the future if it was ever offered to me again!!! The sense of belonging in this community is like none other, and it is a true testament to the mission behind LimitLes. This was truly one of the most meaningful experiences of my entire life. I will be forever grateful for this opportunity.
- Best week of my life!
LimitLes in Argentina was nothing short of incredible. It truly was the best week of my life. Lesley and Emily did not spare any details when it came to planning and kept us busy (in a good way!) every day. The accommodations, the food, activities, yoga, tours, etc. were all top-notch. If I could do this trip multiple times a year, I would. I could not recommend this trip more to anyone who is looking for a fun way to meet life-long friends, unwind, unplug and explore a new place. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the opportunity of a lifetime!
- Humbling and empowering
It is really humbling yet empowering to be surrounded by strong, independent, adventurous, and compassionate women who cheer you on as you push yourself out of your comfort zone, are there to listen when you share vulnerable words, and simply accept you for you. I left with tears in my eyes, a smile on my face, a full heart, and a very happy soul.
- Truly life-changing!
This LimitLes experience was truly life-changing. Lesley and Emily put together a group of kind, powerful, loving humans that I hope to be in contact with the rest of my life. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have spent time learning about a new place, learning about others’ passions, fears, families, friends. I wish everyone could go on a LimitLes trip; it’s magical. You will see new places, eat new things, have new experiences, work on yourself, connect with people and make friends for life. I can not say enough about this wonderful experience.
- Really lived up to the name
This group trip, wasn’t your standard trip. It included visits to sites, introductions to a new culture and cuisine. But we were also encouraged to reflect, relax & remain open to new thoughts & opinions on the culture, each other and ourselves. We pushed ourselves and we pushed each other. We really lived up to the name, learning that the world & ourselves, are truly LimitLes. I walked away with more. More friends, more adventures, more memories. I learned that it’s ok to be goofy AND vulnerable. I learned how to be a better listener, to be a better friend. I was also reminded that life is nothing without these adventures and these beautiful humans and to never stop pushing my limits.
- Community of uplifting women & men
LimitLes trips introduce you to a new community of uplifting women (+ men), which in turn empowers you to embrace the beautiful person you are, both inside and out. Since returning, I’ve thought about this trip almost daily. It’s re-energized me to continue pursuing my desire to make a difference through my own experiences and passions that I have. Most importantly though, the women on this trip made me, a person who deeply struggles with body image and feeling good enough, feel beautiful. I am encouraged to continue on my journey of accepting the woman that I am and believing there is beauty (inner & outer), no matter the angle of the picture.
- Forever thankful
When I applied for LimitLes in Bali, I knew that the trip would be special but I could have never anticipated it would be life changing. I’ve traveled solo, with my family/husband, and now with LimitLes. LimitLes blew my mind in terms of the community building and the instant connection with everybody involved. I was embraced immediately by all and supported wholeheartedly the full trip. I am forever thankful for this experience and this group of humans for coming into my life when they did.
- Energy and love
My mindset on yoga has completely changed. Lesley’s teaching style is something I’ve never experienced. You can feel her thoughtfulness and kindness through her practice. It doesn’t matter if you’ve done yoga your whole life or people like me…downdog who?! She always made me feel beautiful and like I can do yoga. You can teach any person in the world with that kind of energy and love.
- Changed my life!
It’s crazy to me that a random Friday evening answering a few application questions and pressing submit would change my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being you, for constantly walking towards fear and working tirelessly to help walk others down the same path. I am so grateful to be apart of the LimitLes family.
- A movement to empower women
I believe every single person on the planet should take the opportunity to travel with strangers like I did. LimitLes trips are a movement. A movement to empower women, help them grow and find their potential as well as renew their hope and strength in humanity. In return, those women can bring home what they learned and spread it at home and in their community to complete the circle and make the world a better place.
- Really special
We are around strangers every day. Our souls want to connect but we’re so busy in our everyday lives just walking past each other. It was so nice to be around a group of strangers, getting to connect with people and know who they are from their heart…It was really special. After that we were helping each other up the mountain, carrying things to each other, I feel like I’ve known these people forever.
- Not simply a vacation!
LimitLes is not simply a vacation. It’s a chance to explore unfamiliar parts of the world and unfamiliar parts of ourselves.
