LimitLes trips are intentional escapes for those looking to travel with like-minded people who crave movement, purpose, connection, adventure, and change for the greater good. LimitLes Colorado is no ordinary vacation! From movement to adventure to giving back – you’ll walk away with a deeper connection to yourself and a travel community filled with genuine friends.
In my humble opinion, if you step into nature and outside of your comfort zone, you might stumble into the best version of yourself.
I grew up visiting Colorado with friends and family, falling down one mountain at a time. I’ve skied the peaks in the winter, explored the valleys in the spring, floated in the lakes in the summer, peeped the foliage in the fall, and even looked into real estate more than one time. Sure, a lot of travelers picture Colorado as a winter paradise, but have you ever hiked amongst the wildflowers, had your adrenaline pumping as you rock climbed the Rockies, or seen trails so jaw-droppingly beautiful you thought they only existed in your dreams? Welcome to Breck! It’s been waiting for you.
Consider Breckenridge the chill, grounded older brother of the Vail-Breck-Keystone-Bachelor Gulch region. Its deep historic roots give way to a quaint center with bustling restaurants, a lively atmosphere and the cutest Victorian inns. This domestic trip is closer to home and shorter than its international counterparts, but there will be no shortage of farm-to-table restaurants, badass adventure, and the rugged outdoor beauty of Colorado in the summer.
This has been on the short list of domestic LimitLes trips for too long mostly because it’s hard to beat CO in the summertime, and there’s a plethora of outdoor adventure to be had. We could have easily planned a 2-week (month long?) itinerary showcasing my favorite peaks, lakes, trails and ski towns of Colorado but ultimately decided that the Breckenridge chapter is the perfect place to begin and too special to be a blip on a road trip!
