LimitLes trips are intentional escapes for those looking to travel with like-minded people who crave movement, purpose, connection, difference, and change for the greater good. LimitLes Chile isn’t your average vacay. From yoga to exploration to giving back in an exceptional way – we’ll be sure to make an impact: not only on the local community but on you, too.
In my humble opinion, the further south you go, the better the world becomes.
From the driest place on earth to the southernmost tip of the world, this adventure will be unlike any other. I left a big piece of my heart here a while back, and it’s about time I return with a few friends. We’ll start up north in Chile’s Atacama Desert and end in Chilean Patagonia, my favorite place on earth. I don’t visit the region without the excellent guidance of Quasar Expeditions, and lucky for us, these experts will help us venture into the heart of Patagonia.

Trekking under Chile’s granite pillars of Torres del Paine isn’t for the faint of heart. Ever experienced four seasons in one day? Welcome to Patagonia! It’s an unmatched combination of jagged mountain peaks, fractured blue glaciers, azure lakes, and emerald forests among trails that compete with the Torres themselves for command of the landscape. One of my favorite aspects of the region is how it allows the five senses to open up. The rush of wind, the saturated colors of nature, the smell of sizzling cordero (lamb), fresh water from the stream, the feeling of pure awe as your head hits the pillow at night…
You may never have a chance to walk on Mars in this day and age, but the driest place on earth known as Northern Chile’s Atacama Desert has landscapes that are out of this world. The ground crunches when you walk here. That’s the hard, craggy salt surface talking to you. Think flamingos, volcanoes, salt lagoons, boiling geysers, sand dunes, thermal baths, and astronomy tours. I’ve never seen more stars in the night sky than in the Atacama. A rare set of factors in this arid lunar landscape – very little rainfall, crystal-clear skies, high altitudes, and low-to-zero light pollution – have created an unparalleled stargazing haven that we’ll experience together in just a few month’s time.
