LimitLes Back Home: Arkansas Edition June 2025
This summer, we’re heading home.
I never got a hometown date (iykyk), so we’re making up for lost time — the LimitLes way. Before we venture to Alex’s hometown in September, we’re inviting you to the place that built me: Arkansas. It’s where my roots run deep, where the lakes feel like childhood and where the Ozarks whisper stories. And now, it’s time to share that magic with you. It’s more than a trip to me, it’s a return to the heart. From the artistic corners of Bentonville to floating the wild Buffalo River to lake days with my family on Lake Ouachita, this experience blends nostalgic magic with new adventure. It’s rustic-chic meets natural beauty, with just enough Arkansas lux to keep it LimitLes.
We’ll hike, float, connect, unplug, and break bread together. We’ll support local women-owned businesses and intentionally curated travel partners to bring something meaningful to life. And if you’re up for it, extend your stay for an afternoon in Little Rock to shop our favorite streets and share lunch at our favorite spot.

This isn’t just any LimitLes adventure—this one incorporates my village. With special guests (cough cough Murphy fam), you’ll experience Arkansas through our eyes and hearts, and I couldn’t be more excited to share our underrated Natural State with you.
We’ll begin in northwest Arkansas, home of the Hogs, the Ozark Mountains, as well as bustling Bentonville — a town that surprises you in the best way. Think bike trails, art museums, and crystal-clear purpose. We’ll gather for a soul-filled welcome dinner and a giveback moment with Porch Life, an organization near and dear to our hearts. From there we’ll spend the longest day of the year (our Summer Solstice!) cycling with Women of Oz, an Arkansas-based nonprofit getting more women on bikes, because the Ozarks have bragging rights as the best mountain biking destination in the USA (sorry, Colorado). We’ll do yoga under open skies (maybe even at Crystal Bridges, if the stars align) and savoring farm-fresh meals that make you feel like you belong.

We’ll hike to the iconic Hawksbill Crag, float for miles down the wild Buffalo River (the first national river in the USA!), and end our nights with BBQ. By the time we reach the lake house — nestled in the arms of Lake Ouachita — the vibe shifts. It’s time to slow down, dig for diamonds (literally), and float with the Murphy family, cocktails and belly laughs included. We’ll gather for dinner every night on the three-season porch, where stories are swapped while bellies and hearts get full.
Psst… did you know Crater of Diamonds State Park is one of the only places in the world where the public can search for diamonds in their original volcanic source, and visitors find diamonds regularly?! The last diamonds found here were on April 13th and April 12, 2025!

This retreat is rustic-chic, laid-back, and endlessly personal. We’ve blended nostalgia with newness — the kind of adventure that feels as grounding as it does expansive. It’s not just a trip. It’s homecoming.
LimitLes Arkansas is a women-only experience, open to all ages, with 14 spots available. You’ll stay in a charming downtown Bentonville property and family lake houses, hike, float, bike, give back, and gather — all while uncovering what makes Arkansas home to us.
And if you’re not ready to leave just yet? Extend your journey with a visit to Little Rock for a glimpse at Lesley’s beginnings — the coffee shops, downtown strolls, and special spots that shaped the woman behind the mission.

LimitLes Trips are intended to introduce you to like-minded women, welcome you into our travel community, inspire you to venture outside of your comfort zone, and empower you to explore. LimitLes Back Home will inspire you to show up for yourself, open up to others, and lean into a slower pace of life. From country stores near the buffalo to shared laughs over dinner, every activity is designed to foster a connection with yourself, this simple destination, and the badass women by your side.
The Road Les Traveled is usually not for the faint of heart, and this reigns true for our wild Ozark adventures. However, not in the bungee jumping, helicopter flying way. We ask you to come with an open mind and open heart. This itinerary is balanced beautifully with comfortable accommodations to rest your head, southern cuisine to spark your taste buds, quiet moments in nature, lots of movement, and connection activities that will invite you to dive deeply into yourself and others.
