St John is such a unique destination for us as we usually gravitate towards mountainous, hard-to-reach places that inspire hiking, being outdoors, and connection. As it turns out, the Caribbean provided that and so much more. All with a side of SPF and rum punch! Hellooo island life!
I have so much to share so let’s start with my St John wardrobe!
After a 3:30am start, we were off to paradise with all of my favorite travel essentials. As you probably know by now, the Dagne Dover diaper bag is my go-to for all things from a Mary-Poppins travel bag to mom life. I have been loving this Addison Bay dress – so comfortable, easy, and a perfect Summer staple.
Travel
Essentials
The perfect summer dress line up is essential for the season. My go-to brands are Carve Designs, Oliphant, Target, Free People, and Addison Bay. One can never have enough variety of summer dresses in her closet! And y’all know I live for a pop of color!
Summer
Dresses
Shopping for swim wear is… never a small feat. A few days before St. John, I spent hours in a dressing room trying on suit after suit. I finally found some cute, flattering, and comfortable options that I *have* to share. Summersalt is also an all time fave of mine.
Summer
Swimwear
Below have been my go-to accessories the past month because summer came early in Arkansas. My toxic trait is anything white – a white tee, white sneakers, white dresses, white bags, etc. It’s a problem, and I think it all started around my wedding oops. Also, the starfish earrings below are always a big hit!

Accessories
From the yoga mat to working at home to busy mom life, I live in these active wear sets. It’s my uniform of choice (and honestly the best postpartum, of course). A little compression goes a long way in my book. I love that feeling of support! I packed all of these for St John, too.

Hats off to you, St John – the quirkiest, most eccentric, drop dead beautiful island in the Caribbean. Now we know where all the rum has gone!
