“The community created was a highlight for me. Our group was fantastic, everyone got along and we truly enjoyed the time spent together. It’s not a given that a group of 16 women from all over the US will get along when spending 24/7 together for two weeks, including some difficult hikes and challenges, but our group had a blast and was able to laugh through any challenge. I left feeling like I had found a group of women that I would choose to spend time with outside of the trip. My second highlight would be the itinerary – we got to visit all of the places I had dreamed of visiting and I thought the itinerary enabled us to see the best parts of Patagonia.”

“As the best trip of my life!!! Honestly, every minute was so well planned. The details were well thought out, and very much appreciated. I felt like every activity or adventure was top notch. “The LimitLes experience is a rejuvenation unlike any other, and sustaining in the sense of emotional fulfillment, physical bucket list adventures, and soul connections made that will last a lifetime & carry on to new destinations at which we (are already planning to) reunite. “Un-f*****g-believable. Truly, it was a life-changing experience. To put your faith in strangers and travel across the world is no small feat. This experience forced me out of my comfort zone and into a world of discovery. Would I have EVER hiked 14 miles on my own, hell no. Did I (almost happily) do it with the support of the Limitles crew, hell yes – and it was SO worth it. This experience renewed my sense of self, and my confience that “we can do hard things” as Glennon Doyle so eloquently says. In all seriousness, I left with my true self. “I think one of the most beautiful things about these trips is the challenge to describe them. The trip was indescribable in the best way. I have never in my lifetime been surrounded by so much love and magic. That is not to say I have not received love or experienced magic. The abundance of love and magic on this trip was just so much greater than anything I’ve experienced in my daily life. It was an absolute honor to feel a love so deep in the soul that it stays with you beyond 10 days. We hiked up mountains. We stared fear in the face and turned self doubt into positive thinking. We belly laughed, and we also cried. We supported each other through our external and internal struggles. We celebrated with Calafate beer and pisco sours. We were humbled by the mountains and amazed by the stars. We relaxed with yoga at sunset overlooking volcanoes. We endured the Patagonia wind and the warmth of the desert. We approached one another with a loving, accepting, non-judgmental tone. We found that hope exists. Hope for the future. Hope for lifelong friendships. We discovered The Road Les Traveled. Above all, we found ourselves. We discovered that while the women (and man) on this trip are in fact amazing, so are we. The LimitLes experience is something I will never forget and always be grateful for. This trip challenged us to open up the depths of our souls and discover our true selves. Pure magic was felt though every excursion. This experience was indescribable in the best way. This trip was far greater than incredible views and stunning landscapes. This trip was about connection and love. Strangers were brought together with the intention to discover The Road Les Traveled. This trip was empowering, inspiring, and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. LimitLes will leave you with a full heart and an anticipation for future adventures. “LimitLes Zion was simultaneously the most mentally, emotionally & physically challenging and rewarding experience I have ever been lucky enough to be a part of. “When I applied for LimitLes in Bali, I knew that the trip would be special but I could have never anticipated it would be life-changing. I’ve traveled solo, with my family/husband, and now with LimitLes. LimitLes blew my mind in terms of the community building and the instant connection with everybody involved. “Lesley, Emily, and Alex are the dream team when it comes to planning, organizing, and executing the most perfectly planned week. The accommodations and yacht were luxurious. The restaurants were all hand picked beforehand and offered a great balance of Indonesian food and Western/healthy food. Us vegetarians even got our own menu! There was a perfect combination of more well known/typical Bali tourist destinations but also more unique, off the beaten track sites. Everything seemed to flow so effortlessly, which is a testament to the extensive planning and research beforehand by Lesley and Emily. It was an incredible experience that I was so fortunate to be able to be a part of, and I hope that many others are able to share. So if you are at home watching the LimitLes instagram stories and thinking wow that would be so fun to do one day (like I was a year ago) then stop wondering what if.
