1. Sporty Spice

I have a new obsession all the way from Australia, and it’s called Girlfriend Collective. The brand is all about sustainability and making an impact – both on you and the planet. They turn old plastic bottles, fishing nets, and other waste into bras, leggings, and shorts you’ll never want to throw away. My favorite part about the brand is how they give you a sustainability report on each item you’re considering.

Meet my new favorite outfit: this high-rise Skort with built-in compression shorts, hidden mesh pockets, and side slits and their best-selling longline Paloma bra in plum. I’m wearing a small in both pieces for size reference.

2. Who Wears Short Shorts

Lesley wears short shorts. But what’s even better than these water-wicking short shorts, you ask? Built-in compression shorts for some much needed support for bending and stretching and whatever else you please. That’s not even the best part, though. They’re fully recyclable after you’re done with them. Cute, sporty, and nice to the planet CHECK! I’m wearing a medium here, but I could’ve gone down to a small for reference.

I’ve always been a fan of Spanx bras, but I’ve never worn one of their sports bras until now. Ohhh my gosh how I’ve been missing out! I love this hybrid between a sports bra and a crop top that gives you just the right amount of coverage and support for a distraction-free workout. I’m wearing a small for reference.

3. Victory Skort

There’s a new skort in town, and I’m going to be playing a lot more tennis as an excuse to wear this baby. Who am I kidding? Athletic wear no longer has to precede a workout and a workout only. Feel like wearing a tennis skirt to run errands? Go for it. Wanna wear yoga pants to dinner? You do you, boo. This skort is flirty yet practical and so comfortable with its 4-way stretch skirt layer and built-in supportive short liners. Wearing size medium for reference.

4. Biker Babe

I’m drawn to pastel hues and feminine touches. That’s why when Tuckernuck Sport launched its new collection, I was TAKEN. Immediately taken. Every-single-item-in-my-cart-taken. From morning school drop-offs to marathons, these pieces were designed with busy lifestyles in mind and are as functional as they are chic. The 6″ Meadow Green Chintz biker shorts are so beautiful, and I adore the pocket feature on both sides. I’m wearing a small in both the shorts and sports bra.

5. Marble Mania

This set feels like a second skin – but then again, I think that’s the whole point of Spanx 🙂 I love this marbled print and buttery fabric that holds me in all the right places. I found the leggings to be super high-waisted, so if you’re into that, you’ll love the hug these babies give off – as well as the booty boost! I made it a matching set with this low-impact sports bra (size small).

6. Dress for Success

And now for the grand finale: Meet the Undress with, yes, built-in shorts and UPF 50+! Exercise dresses have taken the internet by storm this summer, and I couldn’t help to be influenced myself. Girlfriend Collective gets everything right, so I shouldn’t be surprised, but WHOA this dress is…dare I say…my favorite item of the season?! The lightweight FLOAT fabric is so soft and smooth, almost feeling like it was made for my body. As the site says: Wear it to work out, wear it to do absolutely nothing. I’m wearing a size small for reference, and it fits like a glove.
